The Head of Georgian FM Promised to Continue the Dialogue with Russia
Tbilisi considers it important to continue the dialogue with Russia, including in "Abashidze-Karasin" format. The main task for the Georgian Government is to restore the territorial integrity of the country. This was declared by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Interkas reports.
According to him, "the format of the dialogue with Russia, including the communication of "Abashidze-Karasin" is mandatory."
"The format of "Abashidze-Karasin" addresses the humanitarian and economic issues. The extension of this format, I think is impossible, since beyond this are political issues for which there is the Geneva format, which we should try to save and make more efficient," Kvirikashvili said.
