India Keen to Join Eurasian Economic Union
India’s Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare declared that India must accelerate talks on the establishment of a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), allowing the country to enter a new market, Sputnik News reports.
On the occasion Indian official noted:
"India is very keen to have a free trade agreement as it opens up a new market of Eurasian Economic Union countries. We need to speed it up."
"We have already formed a joint working group. But we want the joint study group to work faster to resolve issues to reach faster the free trade agreement," the minister added.
