  •  NKR

NKR President’s spokesperson David Babayan noted to Armenpress  that  the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan did not say during Moscow press conference that he was going to provide Stepanakert airport to Russia for anti-terrorist operations.

According to the information disseminated  Bako Sahakyan declared during Moscow press conference about the readiness of Karabakh authorities to provide Stepanakert airport to Russia for anti-terrorist operations.

"President did not say he was ready to provide Stepanakert airport to Russia for fight against terrorism.  He spoke of the airports’ possible participation and not its provision. President Bako Sahakyan said that once the airport was completely exploited, the issue of NKR’s participation in anti-terrorist operations might be discussed” spokesman said.

In reference to REGNUM publication, Babayan said that the news agency had released such information to attract more readers.  There was a question and then an answer voiced that when the airport was exploited the issue of NKR’s participation in anti-terrorist operations might be discussed. Babayan added that it was an issue of the future and there was no need to hurry.
