Moldova Insists on the Full Withdrawal of Russian Troops from Transnistria
Moldova insists on the full withdrawal of Russian troops and weapons from Transnistria. This was declared by the President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, en.news-4-u.ru reports.
According to him, there should be an international civilian mission to monitor the situation in the region.
"We reiterate the need to complete the process of withdrawal of Russian military and munitions from the territory of our country," the President said, recalling that the obligations Russia assumed during the OSCE summit in Istanbul in 1999.
