Sahakashvili Refused State Guard Service
Manana Manjgaladze, spokesperson of Mikheil Saakashvili, declared that Sahakashvili has refused to use the state guard service, Interpress News reports.
According to her, the decision was made after the PM dismissed Temur Janashia, the head of the State Guard Special Service yesterday and demanded from Saakashvili to support constitutional changes.
"I am authorized by the president to say that in the given situation the president sees just one solution – he is refusing the state guard service. However, this will not hamper the president to move and to meet the population," Manjgaladze said.
In addition she spoke about the pressure exercised on Temur Janashia and other employees of the State Guard Service for the last period.
Anzor Chubinidze, chief of Bidzina Ivanishvili’s guard, was appointed as the head of the State Guard Special Service today.
