Trump Leads US National Poll

According to CBS News/New York Times national poll of likely Republican primary voters Donald Trump is on top of the field, Politico reports.
Trump is 17-point ahead Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, 35 percent to 18 percent, a significant difference from an NBC News/Wall Street Journal national survey released Wednesday evening that found Cruz ahead by two points.
Trump leads among all demographic groups, including among men, women, white evangelicals, moderates and those describing themselves as somewhat conservative. Among those describing themselves as very conservative, Trump holds a five-point lead on Cruz, within the poll's margin of error.
