Switzerland: Foreigners-Violators will not be Deported
The problems of illegal migration, issues related to refugees staying in European countries give rise to the growing popularity of right-wing forces, who are trying by various means to strengthen their position and achieve more.
However, the attempts of the rights, at least for now, do not find enough support among the population of their countries. One of the advantages of democracy, of the strong civil society formed, for sure, is that in these countries there is a strong historical memory and awareness of the consequences, when perpetrators are being looked for outside their own country.
In this context Switzerland is also not an exception, where, according to the BBC, the preliminary results of a national referendum indicate that the proposal to deport foreigners who have committed minor offenses is rejected.
The referendum was initiated by the right wing Swiss People's Party, which holds the migrants responsible for the social problems of the country.
The party seeks to restrict migration, offered to expel all immigrants who have over the past 10 years two sentences for minor crimes.
At the same time, Switzerland from January of this year, unilaterally imposed quotas on entry into the country, if the flow of migrants exceeds a certain threshold...
