Aurora Prize Laureate Marguerite Barankitse will deliver a speech at UN World Humanitarian Summit, Armenpress reports citing auroraprize.com. In her first public address as Aurora Prize Laureate, Marguerite Barankitse will discuss how grassroots initiatives in conflict-afflicted communities are influencing humanitarian engagement and shifting the rules of engagement.
The first-ever World Humanitarian Summit, convened by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, will take place from 23 to 24 May 2016 in Turkey.
