Armenia can modernize its armed forces, buying weapons in the CSTO countries at discounted prices. According to RIA Novosti, this was declared by the secretary general of the organization Nikolay Bordyuzha.
Speaking at a press conference on the results of the meeting of the CSTO Security Council Secretaries, Bordyuzha noted that for modernization of Armenia's armed forces, "there are many ways."
"The most important thing is an agreement on preferential military-technical cooperation within the CSTO system which means that Armenia can buy the factory-made weapons (in CSTO member countries) with discount," Bordyuzha said.
