RA Prime Minister: Authorities are Doing Everything for a Peaceful Resolution of the Situation in Yerevan
The situation on the territory of the Patrol-Guard Service Regiment in Erebuni district of Yerevan is a concern, the authorities are doing everything for its peaceful resolution. This was declared by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan at a cabinet meeting on July 21.
He recalled that on July 17 a group of armed men attacked Patrol-Guard Service Regiment, killed a police Colonel. The head of the executive body of Armenia expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Arthur Vanoyan. "What happened, is impermissible and should be condemned, because it is impossible to achieve real change through violence. It is a dangerous and a hopeless way,” Hovik Abrahamyan said.
