Warlick: Extensive Negotiations on Karabakh Conflict Are Planned to Continue

The US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick declared that the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, agreed on the issue of extending the number of the OSCE monitoring group, РИА Новости reports.
"Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group actively work in direction of realizing obligations taken by the presidents during the meeting in Vienna and St. Petersburg to decrease tension and to further progress the negotiation process for peaceful conflict resolution. The presidents agreed on extending the number of the OSCE monitoring group on the contact line and on Azerbaijan-Armenian borders. Extensive negotiations are planned to be continued on the conflict resolution by the engagement of high-level officials from each side. The progress in diplomatic direction is necessary for decreasing the tension between the sides," Warlick stated.
