Martin Schultz Accused of Financial Freud

Candidate for chancellor of Germany from the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) Martin Schultz is accused of financial mismanagement during his being the head of the European Parliament. The prosecution has been put forward by the chairman of the European Committee for Control over budget Inge Gresle, Korrespondent reports.
Now the European Office for the fight against fraud checks whether a questionable accusation has sufficient grounds for a formal investigation of the former European Parliament President Martin Schulz.
Schultz himself has not yet commented on these accusations.
