NKR Minister of Foreign Affairs Met With Greek MPs
On March 15, in the framework of his working visit to Greece, Artsakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan met with representatives of a number of political forces represented in the Parliament of Greece, in particular, with Panayotis Zgouridis (Deputy Chairman of the Independent Greeks Party), Lianna Kanelli (Communist Party), Sylvana Rapti (PASOK Panhellenic Socialist Movement), Eve Khristofilopoulou (Democratic Union Party), and Giorgos Koumoutsakos (New Democracy Party), Artsakhpress reports.
As the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Artsakh informs, Karen Mirzoyan briefed the Greek MPs on the situation in Artsakh and around it, as well as touched upon the current stage of the peaceful settlement process of Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict and the steps taken by the authorities of Artsakh aimed at ensuring conditions for the resumption of the negotiation process.
Touching upon the achievements in the state-building process in Artsakh and the latest developments, the Foreign Minister emphasized the determination of the people and authorities of the Republic of Artsakh to strengthen the independent statehood based on democratic values and principles.
During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on the opportunities and prospects of cooperation by means of parliamentary diplomacy.
