The Kremlin Commented on Ukraine's Course on NATO Membership

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is concerned about the process of NATO expansion, since this is a threat to Russia. According to him, the Russian Federation is taking all necessary measures to ensure its security, РБК reports.
"Moscow traditionally refers with distrust and concern to the process of NATO expansion towards our borders. We believe that this threatens our security and the balance of power in the Eurasian region. Of course, the Russian side takes all necessary measures to rebalance the situation and ensure its own security," he said.
