Armenian Film Week in Iran
Armenian Film Week was launched in Tehran Artists’ House Sunday evening in a ceremony attended by a number of Iranian and Armenian filmmakers and artists, IRNA reports.
Head of Central Association of Cinematic Critics and Writers Keyvan Kasirian noted that this was the first time Iran and Armenia held educational workshops and screen films in order to introduce Armenian cinema.
The Armenia Film Week will also be held in Shiraz and Mashad in coordination with International Department of Iran’s Art and Experimental Cinema as well as Armenian embassy in Tehran.
Throughout the week, which will end next Saturday, feature and short films as well as documentaries will be screened.
