Chairman of the Israeli Party Urged to Recognize the Armenian Genocide

Yair Lapid, chairman of the Israeli opposition party "Yesh Atid", said that it is necessary to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide in response to the policy of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan against Israel, Rusarminfo.ru reports.
"From this moment we must recognize the Armenian Genocide and support the establishment of an independent Kurdish state. Israel must do what it hasn't done before in order not to spoil relations with Turkey", said the leader of the party, which is the second in terms of the number of mandates in the Knesset.
According to Yair Lapid, it's time to realize that friendship with Turkey has remained in the past and it can not be restored.
