Stella Kyriakides Elected PACE President

Stella Kyriakides (Cyprus, EPP/CD) was elected as the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Oct. 10.
In the third round of voting She obtained a large majority over the other candidate, Emanuelis Zingeris (Lithuania, EPP/CD), TASS reports.
She will remain in office until the opening of the next ordinary session in Strasbourg which will take place in January 22-26, 2018.
