Stepanakert’s Official Response: Turkey’s Policy is Obviously Directed against Armenian Statehood
Turkey’s involvement in Karabakh conflict is impossible and inadmissible, Artsakh President’s spokeperson David Babayan said in an interview with ''Artsakhpress''.
On November 29 Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that he had met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk in Ankara.
''We must acknowledge the permanent involvement of Turkey in the process of Karabakh-Azerbaijan conflict. This involvement is negative and it’s evident to everybody. Turkey’s policy is obviously directed against Armenian statehood," David Babayan said.
He added that such meetings do not mean that Turkey will officially become one of the mediators in the conflict resolution process, and that this fact is impossible and inadmissible.
David Babayan noted that probably during such meetings the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs make it comprehensible for Turkey not to pass the "red line".
