The RA President Received the OSCE MG Co-Chairs
Today, on February 9, the RA President Serzh Sargsyan received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Andrew Sheffer (USA), Stefan Visconti (France) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, who arrived in Yerevan within the framework of the regional visit, the press service of the RA President informs.
The Co-Chairs presented to President Sargsyan the results of their meetings in Baku.
President Sargsyan drew the attention of the Co-Chairs to the recent statements made by Baku and noted that they are another proof how far Azerbaijan is from the readiness to move forward the negotiation process over the Karabakh conflict settlement based on the proposals of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs, as well as these statements also show how Baku reacts to the constant calls of the Co-Chairs to prepare societies for peace.
The participants of the meeting highlighted the commitment of the parties to the peace process in the negotiation process, as well as the necessity of fulfilling the agreements reached at the Vienna, St. Petersburg and Geneva summits.
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs informed the President of the Republic of Armenia about their forthcoming work plans.
The President of Armenia reaffirmed Armenia's willingness together with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to continue the efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully.
