Pashinyan: The Operative Communication System with Aliyev Has not Been Confirmed yet
Operative communication system is not established yet between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia said during today’s parliamentary Q&A in response to Republican MP Armen Ashotyan’s question, Sputnik Armenia reports.
Ashotyan inquired from Pashinyan whether this connection was established and whether the Prime Minister has managed to find out some details about the fate of Karen Ghazaryan, resident of Berdavan village in Tavush province, who is in the Azerbaijani prison.
"There is no connection at the moment. But we are doing everything in this direction. I also want to note with satisfaction that the situation in Artsakh-Azerbaijani and the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is calm in recent days," the Prime Minister added.
On the occasion of the fate of the Armenian citizen, Pashinyan promised to present the relevant government report.
