Switzerland Announced Its Readiness to Host a Summit of Putin and Biden

Switzerland is ready to provide a venue for the possible first meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, if necessary, said Eliza Ruggi, spokesperson of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Elisa Raggi told RIA Novosti.
“Switzerland is ready to provide its services if they are useful and desirable. This also includes acting as a host or helping to organize conferences or meetings’’, she said.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that during a telephone conversation with the Russian leader Biden proposed holding a meeting with Putin in the coming weeks.
