CSTO Closely Follows the Developments in Armenia’s Syunik: Zas

The CSTO is closely following the developments in Armenia’s Syunik province, Secretary General of the organization Stanislav Zas stated after the  session of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe. 

Zas noted that the situation on the border of Armenia became the subject of discussion during the meeting. The secretary general added that the CSTO welcomes the negotiations that have begun between the parties mediated by Russia, as well as the achievement of an agreement on the withdrawal of some part of the units.

"We note that there is no alternative to the implementation of the trilateral agreement of November 9, 2020," Zas said.
