Netanyahu Will Be Assigned to Form a New Government
On Wednesday night, at the President’s Residence, the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin will assign Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form the new government, Jerusalem Post reports. Netanyahu will be given 28 days to form the government, but if he does not succeed in doing so, he can ask for 14 more days, which would end on May 6.
The official negotiations for forming coalition will begin on Thursday in the Knesset. However, right after the elections Netanyahu has already began talks with different parties on forming a coalition.
