Experts of "Insight" Analytical Center Summarize NKR Elections
The experts of "Insight" Analytical Center for Applied Policy and Research Liana Hovhannisyan and Anna Karapetyan had a press conference in which they summarized NKR Parliamentary elections.
During the press conference the experts made comments on the process of the NKR Parliamentary elections, on the assessments given by international observers and political forces. The experts made comparison between the international policies of competing political parties. In addition the experts referred to the international reactions on the NKR Parliamentary elections comparing them with the reactions on previous state elections in NKR.
"According both to the observers and political forces, NKR elections were free and transparent and were a step forward towards democracy building. Those elections were first of all important for Artsakh people as a means to organize their own life," Anna Karapetyan stated.
"The statement made by the EU on the NKR elections was a retreat from the universal values," Liana Hovhannisyan noted.
