Kerry Reconfirmed the US Commitment to the Peaceful Resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
US State Secretary John Kerry reconfirmed the US commitment to the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In the statement released on the official page of the US State Department on the Azerbaijan’s Republic Day John Kerry particularly noted:
"The United States is committed to continuing efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, combat transnational threats, and advance the rule of law."
In addition in the statement the US State Secretary "strongly supported" the role of Azerbaijan "in European energy diversification through the Southern Gas Corridor".
