Kremlin Spokesman: Merkel Used Incorrect Terminology about Crimea
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel used incorrect terminology when referring to Crimea as being "annexed by Russia" instead of being ''reunified with Russia'', Sputnik News reports.
"If I remember correctly, Mrs. Merkel made a mistake in her statement in regard to terminology. She used the word ''annexation,'' and not ''reunification.'' We believe this to be an inaccurate definition", - said the spokesman.
He also mentioned that the voluntary reunification of Crimea is legitimate within the current laws, including Ukrainian.
