US Ready to Provide Ukraine with Gas
At a press conference in Kiev Senator John McCain announced that US will be able to supply gas to Ukraine and the rest of Europe in the next two years.
According to him, the fact that Russia provides Europe with gas is a major obstacle that makes Europe unable to strengthen further sanctions against Russia.
It sould be noted that currently Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission are seeking to agree on a draft protocol on Russian gas supplies to Ukraine, which is expected to cover the entire autumn-winter seasons of 2015-2016, Sputnik News reports.
The document is supposed to be signed at the trilateral meeting of Ministers, which as RA Minister of Energy Alexander Novak stated, will be held most likely after June 20.
