Armenian Government Takes Steps for Mitigating the Impact of the Rise of Electricity Price
The Armenian government, in order to mitigate the impact of the rise of electricity price on socially unsecured people, has increased the social benefits of 105,000 families, or 400,000 people. As Armenpress reports, this was declared by the Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan. He said that for that purpose 2.5 billion drams will be allocated.
At the same time he said that no government, including the government of Armenia does not want to raise any tariff, but the government has to take into account the objective reality.
