Zvartnots Tightens Security Measures
Spokesman for the Zvartnots Airport Gevorg Abrahamyan declared that the security measures at Zvartnots international airport in Yerevan (capital of the Republic of Armenia) were being tightened in the light of the latest developments in the world, ArmInfo reports.
"The security measures at the Zvartnots Airport have always been at a high level. But to ensure the security of both passengers and employees in the light of the latest developments, we have decided to tighten them. The footwear of both the passengers leaving Armenia and the airport employees will be examined," says Abrahamyan.
In addition he assured that the management of Zvartnots Airport was doing everything possible to ensure the safety of those who make use of the airport services.
