Cameron and Tusk Indicate Progress in the Negotiations over Britain’s Membership to the EU

British Prime Minister David Cameron and President of the European Council, Donald Tusk indicated progress in the negotiations on the revision of the conditions of membership of Great Britain in the EU, RIA Novosti reports.

"The Prime Minister and European Council President Donald Tusk discussed the issue of changing the conditions of membership of Britain at a bilateral meeting after the EU-Turkey summit. They agreed that we continue making good progress. While some areas are more complicated than others, negotiations to find solutions and harmonizing the reforms in all four directions, mentioned by the Prime Minister in his letter to the President of the European Council, with the EU Member States are continuing," the Prime Minister's Office said.

It is noted that all the EU leaders will discuss the review of the conditions of Great Britain’s membership to the EU at the European Council next month.
