Obama Wants to Meet Fidel Castro

The US President Barack Obama, who is visiting Cuba, said in an interview with ABC television that he would be happy to meet with the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
According to him, it would symbolize the end of the chapter of "Cold War" in the history of the two states, which lasted a few decades after the regime change on the island, Lenta.ru reports.
At the same time, the US Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security Ben Rhodes said during a briefing that Obama, during his stay in Cuba does not plan to hold a meeting with Fidel Castro.
