Azerbaijan Intends to Produce Ballistic Missiles with a Range of 280 km

Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Yavar Jamalov said the country is in talks on bringing technology of ballistic missiles with a range of 280 km to Azerbaijan, azernews.az reports.
''Today, negotiations are underway with several leading manufacturers of military equipment on acquisition of various missile technologies,'' he said.
Jamalov noted that the priority projects of the Defense Industry Ministry covers 125 items of military production, which are under the development work. Moreover, the work also covers "ground-to-air", "air-air", and "ground-to-ground" missiles.
