US Remains Committed to Facilitating a Negotiated Settlement of the Karabakh Conflict (Statement)

On the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan independence, the US embassy in Azerbaijan issued a statement, where it is noted that the US remains committed to facilitating a negotiated settlement of the Karabakh conflict, APA reports.
According to the statement, the US ir ready to work together in support of measures to promote freedom of expression, political participation, and rule of law, increase economic prosperity, fight terrorism, and to ensure a peaceful and stable future for Azerbaijan’s citizens,
As it is noted by the Azerbaijani sources, it is interesting that for the first time in many years, the congratulation addressed to Azerbaijan's president and people is not from the US President.
