NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Applied 60-mm Mortar
According to operative data, on the night of December 28 in the southern (Hadrut), eastern (Martuni-Akna) and northeastern (Martakert) directions of NKR-Azerbaijani border Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire over 50 times, firing more than 900 shots in the direction of the Armenian positions, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informs.
In addition in the direction of Martakert the opponent also used 60-mm mortar (11 rounds).
Advanced units of the Defense Army suppressed the opponent’s offensive mainly in the north-eastern direction and resorted to a proportionate response actions.
