Trump Took US Off Trans-Pacific Partnership

President Donald Trump has fulfilled a key campaign pledge by withdrawing the United States from the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership, EuroNews reports.
Trump signed an executive order on Monday pulling the US out of the trade deal.
Trump called the TPP order a "great thing for the American worker."
In an Oval Office ceremony, Trump also signed another order imposing a federal hiring freeze and a directive to cut funding to US non-governmental organisations that provide abortions abroad.
At the same time Trump vowed to ‘‘massively’‘ cut regulations and taxes on companies that keep jobs in the US, claiming they could be cut by as much as 75 percent, ‘‘maybe more’‘.
"We will be cutting regulation massively. Now we are gonna have regulation and it will be just as strong and just as good and just as protective of the people as the regulation we have right now: The problem that we have with the regulation right now is that you can’t do anything," President Trump said.
