NKR Defense Army: the Situation on NKR-Azerbaijan Border Remained Tense
On the night of March 3 the situation on NKR-Azerbaijan border remained tense. With large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime over 145 times firing more than 2000 shots towards Armenian positions.
Intensive violations were recorded in eastern and northeastern areas of the border. In these areas Azerbaijani armed forces with 60 and 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers fired 111 shells of various types.
As a result of measures taken by the Defense Army units, the opponent’s activity was suppressed.
