NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Applied 82 mm Mortars
On the night of May 11 on NKR-Azerbaijan border, Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire over 65 times from weapons of different calibers, firing 1700 shots towards Armenian positions.
The Azerbaijani armed forces applied 82 mm mortars (4 missiles) and -44 D-type guns (8 projectile) towards Martakert. Besides the cases of violation of ceasefire on May 10 at 13:30 in the direction of Tapkarakoyunlu-Talish shift of armored vehicles (10 tanks) was noticed. At 14:55 the tanks returned to their previous positions.
The Defense Army has resorted to a responsive action to suppress the activity of the Azerbaijani armed forces.
At the moment, the operational situation in frontline is calm.
