NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Used 60 mm and 82 mm Mortars

According to operative data, on the night of May 12, on NKR-Azerbaijan border the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime about 90 times from small arms of various calibers, the press service of the Artsakh Republic Defense Ministry reports.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired more than 1750 rounds in the direction of the Armenian positions.

In the southern and northern directions of the border, in addition to small arms, Azerbaijani Armed Forces used 60 mm and 82 mm mortars (22 rounds), as well as anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers (12 rounds).

The advanced units of the Defense Army resorted to retaliatory actions and continue to exercise reliable defense of combat positions.
