NKR Defense Minister: Situation on NKR-Azerbaijan Border Is Tense, But Stable

The situation on Artsakh-Azerbaijan border remains tense, but stable. As Sputnik Armenia reports, the Defense Minister of the Artsakh Republic, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan, the commander of the Defense Army, told journalists on Sunday.
"There has been a certain decline in activity during the previous months, although there has been a noticeable increase in tension from time to time, this does not last long. If we compare with the period after April, the tension decreased several times," Mnatsakanyan said.
"Serious engineering work was carried out at the front line, video surveillance systems were introduced, the human factor was reduced to a minimum," Mnatsakanyan said.
