Wine Days Held in Yerevan

"Yerevan Wine Days" event has been held in Saryan street for the second time and this event is involved in the program of Yerevan 2800th anniversary of foundation, official page of Yerevan Municipality reports.

The event was organized by "Eventtura" company with the assistance of Yerevan Municipality, the Tourism State Committee of the RA Ministry of Economic development and Investments, the Tourism Development Foundation of Armenia and the "GIZ Armenia" organization. Among other guests there were Yerevan Mayor’s Assistant Maria Baraghamyan, the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture Ruben Hovhannisyan, the head of tourism unit Gevorg Orbelyan.

This event is another opportunity for numerous tourists to discover the attractions of the capital and its exciting,unique atmosphere.

Stressing the importance of this event from the point of view of tourism development Yerevan Mayor’s Assistance Maria Baraghamyan noted, " Yerevan Municipality always includes touristic component in its various events because tourism development is of high importance for the capital. "Yerevan Wine Days" presents the best traditions of Armenian winery, our cultures and traditions to our townspeople and guests of the capital".

The guests of the event have the opportunity to tour around more than 50 pavilions, to familiarize themselves to the sorts of wine and diversity of snacks. More than 200 sorts of wine are represented in 32 pavilions. 5 wine factories from the Artsakh Republic are taking part in the event. In other pavilions gusts can taste various dishes of the national and foreign cuisine from the restaurants and cafes of the capital.

It should be noted that the event was accompanied by the multi-genre show program performed by popular bands and DJs. Good music and small interesting flash-mobs provided the good mood of the participants and guests. "Yerevan Wine Days" event is over tonight.
