Azerbaijani Forces Tried to Attack during the Day in Few Directions, Were Pushed Back: Artsrun Hovhannisyan

During the whole day today different subversive groups, mercenaries and terrorists attempted to attack in several directions, including in northern wooden areas, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan said at a briefing today, Aysor.am reports. 

''I have noted several times that our woods and gorges will become a hell for the adversary. We have selected quite expressive name for the operation on elimination of the enemy, Turks understand it very well – ''gyorbagyor2020'' and it will continue,'' he said.

Hovhannisyan said battles continued in southern direction as well, along the Vorotan River, a platoon tried to attack but was pushed back.

''Azeri side used warplanes, artillery, the density of fire sometimes grows,'' he said.
