This War Will Be Won on the Battlefield: Borrell
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said on Saturday that the Ukrainian conflict will end on the battlefield.
“This war will be won on the battlefield. Additional EUR500 million from the #EPF are underway. Weapon deliveries will be tailored to Ukrainian needs,” Borrell said on Twitter.
He also said that ''the EU needs to continue to increase its pressure on Russia''.
''We have imposed massive sanctions already but more needs to be done on the energy sector, incl oil. On Monday, I am convening an EU Foreign Affairs Council #FAC to discuss next steps'', Borrell tweeted.
