DPR, LPR Appoint Their Ambassadors to Russia
The head of the Lugansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik has appointed Rodion Miroshnik as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia. The corresponding decree was published on Friday on the LPR leader's website, TASS reports.
"Rodion Valeryevich Miroshnik shall be appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lugansk People's Republic in the Russian Federation," the document reads.
Earlier, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin appointed Olga Makeeva as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia. "Olga Aleksandrovna Makeeva shall be appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Russian Federation," the document reads.
The decrees come into force on the date of its official publication.
