Ararat Mirzoyan received Anne Louyot, the Ambassador of France to Armenia

On January 5, the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Anne Louyot, the Ambassador of France to Armenia.

Minister Mirzoyan briefed the French Ambassador on the situation resulting from the blockade of the Lachine Corridor by Azerbaijan, stressing that the 120,000 people of Nagorno Karabakh, who are under the blockade due to Azerbaijan's illegal actions, are facing a gradually deepening humanitarian crisis.

Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of continuous and targeted response and steps taken by the international community to unblock the Lachin Corridor in accordance with Azerbaijan's obligations stipulated in the Trilateral Statement of November 9, 2020. In this context, the Foreign Minister of Armenia highly valued the position of the French side, expressing appreciation for the statement made by France during the urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on December 20, 2022, as well as the following efforts.
