Armenia Security Council Secretary, EU technical assessment team discuss deployment of new mission
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan held a meeting with members of the EU technical assessment mission headed by Marcin Wydra, armenpress reports.
The Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin also participated in the meeting.
Secretary Grigoryan welcomed the EU team’s visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the work of the EU monitoring mission which completed its term on 19 December 2022 and once again reiterated Armenia’s readiness to contribute to the work of a new civilian mission.
The sides addressed the scope of activities of the new EU civilian mission, its deployment, and discussed other issues of bilateral interest, Grigoryan’s office said in a read-out.
