New Sanctions against Iran

A new bill was formed by Republican and Democratic US lawmakers on further Iran sanctions, reports Tass. The discussion over the sanctions is planned to start next week.

As Itar-Tass informs, the bill supposes to expand the sanctions against Iran if no agreement is reached with the UN Security Council’s five permanent members (China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, and the United States) and Germany on cutting its nuclear program.

Thus if no final agreement is reached due to June 30 the tougher sanctions against the Islamic Republic will be finalized.

It should be noted that the US president Barak Obama has already announced that he is against this initiative.
