A New Agreement between Russia and South Ossetia

Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma an agreement with South Ossetia on the order of retirement for military personnel and their families for ratification, reports Риа Новости.

As it is written on the official website of Kremlin, this document is to create legal basis for cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia in pension system of the military personnel and their families when moving from their permanent residence into another country.  

"According to the agreement pension provision of the indicated categories of persons will be subject to the norms and procedures established by the State legislation, in the territory of which they reside. In case the pensioner changes the place of his/her residence, he/she is granted the right to receive the pension in accordance with the laws of the State chosen as a place of residence ", - is stated in the explanatory note of the document.
