France Have a New Anti-Terror Strategy

The Prime Minister of France Manuel Valls today announced that their country is going to allocate 425 million euros for fighting against terrorism, reports the BBC. Speaking about the plans of the government following the terrorist attacks in Paris, the Prime Minister assures that this money is of great importance for dealing with terrorism as there is a threat  "with 3,000 radical Islamists currently requiring surveillance across France." Speaking about the radical Islamists in France, Valls mentioned that among them are those who have fought in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen, and now are sending volunteers to Syria and Iraq. Manuel Valls also added that 2,680 new jobs will be created in the security agencies that are involved in counter-terrorism activities. Speaking about the resources for the fight against terrorism, Valls said that "the security forces would be provided with better equipment and protection, including bullet-proof vests", writes New Telegraph. "We will pursue this fight against terrorism relentlessly," - he said.

The Paris attacks shocked everyone in the World, but of course it was exactly the France that felt the whole heaviness and the difficulty of the situation. No surprise that the government of France decided to allocate such large sum of money for the fight against terrorism.

Today the Paris prosecutor announced that their cooperation with the authorities of Turkey, Belgium and Spain will continue as they seek to find possible partners that have helped in the implementation of this attack, the travel records of those suspected and also information about how they got their weapons, reports the Reuters.

The whole Europe is in a tense situation after the attacks on the Charlie Hebdo magazine that left dead 17 people. Many Earopean countries are taking measures for preventing any threat of terrorism. For example, UK police have raised threat level to ‘severe’ and Brussels has deployed troops to guard key sites.
