Another Azerbaijani Sabotage: One killed and Another Wounded in the Armenian Side

At 03:00 am on January 21 the Azerbaijani troops made an infiltration attempt in the Contact Line between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the direction of Karvachar.

The frontline divisions of the NKR defence army managed to stop the progress of the special units of the enemy and to thrօw them back into their initial positions. The Aserbaijani side have losses.  

Unfortunately, during the fighting an Armenian serviceman Nahapet Asatryan born in 1982 was killed and Hovhannes Gasparyan born in 1973 was wounded.

The Defence Ministry of NKR shares the deep grief of the loss and sends its condolences to Asatryan’s family members, his relatives and fellow servicemen.

An investigation is underway to find the details of the incident.
