NATO is Willing to Reestablish Communication with Russian Forces
The Commander, U.S. European Command, as well as the 17th Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO Allied Command Operations Philip Mark Breedlove declared about his willingness to reestablish connections with Russian military forces, reports BBC.
Particularly Breedlove expressed in favor of establishing communication with Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
"We had open communication; I had a conversation with the General even after Russia’s invasion to Crime. We are going to reestablish our communication" as BBC reports Breedlove stated.
It should also be added that Chief of NATO forces previously declared, that the Alliance is going to increase the number of its forces and make military trainings more intense, especially in Baltic States.
